With the Mosaic video podcast feed unavailable, does anyone know how I could get a DVD? I’d like to show it to our College Group at our church in SF.
If you have information on this, please let me know - bill@vanderwall.com
Thanks, Bill

Inspired by Ethos, I’m taking my Men’s Group through some personality testing and character assessment. I found a site with a free version of a Myers-Briggs type test: http://humanmetrics.com. I’m an ISTJ, which Keirsey calls an “Inspector Guardian”. Fictional characters that I’m compared to: Eeyore, Cliff Clevin (Cheers), Fred Mertz, Puddlegum the Marshwiggle (Narnia). Great.
I have to say that the description on http://kiersey.com/personality/sjit.html was right on, though. It even predicted one of my favorite hobbies, investing in stocks.
What are you? Do you know? Has knowing made any difference to you?

One of my young friends gave himself the pseudonym Devisser (de Visser). He was doing a research paper and ran across this Dutch name meaning ‘the fisher’. I’m presuming that one motivation for taking on the name is that he considers himself to be a fisher of men.
He jokingly declared tomorrow, Wed., May 31 to be National Devisser Devi Day.
As I thought about it, I thought that is a good idea to have a day like that. I was very convicted last week at Origins. I’m way too inwardly focused, both personally and as it applies to ministry. I need a day to remind me of Jesus’s call for us to be fishers of men. Actually, I need constant reminders - a paradigm shift, where I view relationships with co-workers and friends as opportunities to love them as Christ loves them; instead of my current paradigm which is highly compartmental - fully ‘Christian’ at church, but detached and aloof while in the ‘world’.
So tomorrow I’ll be trying to change my perspective, and I’ll be trying to make it last beyond tomorrow.
To all of you: Happy National Devisser Day!

Ever go to a really inspiring conference and come home wanting to change the world? And then a year later you look back and realize that the impact was much smaller than you thought when you were at the conference?
I came home yesterday really inspired. And I want to make sure that I don’t miss this moment to respond to everything God was saying to me in Pasadena. This is an opportunity to work on my faithfulness - one of the places in my character that needs improvement.
Thanks to everyone at Mosaic. Your dedication and servanthood was awesome.
